1.Coordinate and involve various R&D institutes to develop products, processes, and packaging for the food processing industry 2.Manage relationships with IIFPT, NIFTEM and all other training institutions 3.Advances sectoral capacity building through training, workshops, seminars, etc. 4.Disseminate research and knowledge in food technology, entrepreneurship and management across industry partners 5.Engage with industry partners to source problem statements for lab innovations, research collaborations, promote functional foods and leverage state-level schemes
